The 31-year old Miami native got his start in entrepreneurship in 2013 after leaving his role as Director of Digital Marketing Strategies to start Reputation Resolutions. Anthony graduated with a degree in Economics from Wofford College and holds certifications in digital marketing from New York University and Google.
Anthony owes all of his entrepreneurial success to the support of his family and brilliant business partner, Stephen. In an effort to give back to the community and support those that are struggling with mental health issues, Anthony continues to support various local and national mental health organizations such as the AFSP. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and dog.
Where did the idea for Reputation Resolutions come from?
From 2011-2013, I worked at a consulting firm as the Director of Digital Marketing Strategies – which largely involved helping companies and individuals improve and manage their Google search results. During this time, I had a number of my friends reach out to me in a panic, all with the same issue. When you “Googled” their name, there were negative search results or embarrassing images that were harming their personal and professional lives.
When I began looking into their issues, and how to fix them, the options available at the time were very limited. I quickly realized there was an opportunity to not only help my friends but also help the hundreds of thousands of people and businesses dealing with online reputation issues harming their everyday lives. That’s when I set out on a mission with our Co-founder Stephen Van Delinder to create one of the industry’s first online reputation firms that guaranteed results – which is the business model we still use for the majority of our services.
What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
My typical day as of late involves the “miracle morning,” which is a 6-step morning routine (starting at 5 am) using silence, affirmations, visualization, exercise, reading, and writing. I try to do this every day, but some days are definitely more difficult than others.
How do you bring ideas to life?
I bring ideas to life based on the simple premise of how can we best serve our clients to accomplish their online reputation goals and objective on Google.
What’s one trend that excites you?
It’s not an exciting trend because it’s a horrible once-in-a-lifetime situation, but with the current COVID-19 pandemic, the trend of people going to Google to find information on anybody or anything will only grow in prominence.
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?
Hiring incredibly smart, talented, dedicated, and driven employees that are genuinely good people.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t be afraid of failure.
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?
Meditate and visualize your day; visualize success.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
The best $100 I’ve spent was on a cozy blanket for my wife with a sentimental message.
What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?
Asana, which has allowed us to scale our client onboarding process for our Account Managers.
What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?
The Miracle Morning
What is your favorite quote?
