But there are two very different directions your “what if” can go…
“What If” UP – The Language of Possibility
These questions expand you. They come from curiosity and opportunity:
What if we exceed our targets this year?
What if this challenge opens a new door?
“What If” DOWN – The Language of Fear
These questions contract you. They come from worry and worst-case thinking:
What if we lose key clients?
What if this fails?
So challenge yourself in 2026:
Do you approach work and life expecting it will be good – meaningful, even wonderful?
Or do you brace yourself, expecting things will go badly?
Because whether we realize it or not:
We almost always get what we *expect* – not what we want.
What’s one “What If UP” question you could ask yourself about 2026?
